This is the blog for the Elementary Spanish 101 course at Hunter College

The objective of this course is to give students the opportunity to learn the basics for reading, writing and speaking Spanish. Spanish 101 is for beginners with no previous experience in the language. Students will learn the fundamentals of Spanish language in its cultural and communicative contexts. This blog is a repository of resources, vocabulary, and students’ works.

The process of learning the basics of Spanish language is accompanied by the exploration of the history and culture of Latin American, Spanish, and Latinxs, both in their countries of origin and within diasporic communities.
